1988: The Year Cards Started to Change

I know I skimmed over or forgot some important points in this video. If I forgot something, go ahead and post it in the comments.

Here's the post Dinged Corners did. The normal timeline will be back on the next video (that is, if I don't get busted for copyright infringement).

great video... i forgot how cool the 1988 score set is. i love that design... plain (but in a good way) and simple, like their 89 football set (one of my favorite sets of all time).

btw... score may have had the plastic wrappers, but if i'm not mistaken... sportsflics came out a few years earlier, with these foil like wrappers (not like UD's 1989 foil, but more like a mylar foil).

keep up the cool blog.

You might be right, Fuji-san. It's been a long time since I've opened a pack of Sportsflics.

Evil Empire indeed.

It's all in the cardstock, you know. '89 UD had intoxicating cardstock.
